How claiming works

- We verify you’re actually the operator (domain match or a quick callback to your listed number).
- You get a “claimed” badge, your corrections go live, and you can request a data refresh of your listing anytime.
Manual process, on purpose — verification quality beats signup volume while the directory is young.

Does claiming my listing cost anything?
No. Claiming, correcting details, and being ranked are free and always will be. Rankings are computed from public review data with a published formula — there is nothing to buy that affects them.
Can I improve my DogDnB Score?
Only the way you’d want a competitor to: earn more good reviews. The score is a review-volume-adjusted version of your public Google rating. More happy customers reviewing you = higher score. We never adjust scores manually.
My facility isn’t listed. Can I add it?
Yes — email us with your business name and address. We index facilities with public Google Business profiles in our covered metros; if you’re outside them, we’ll queue your city for a future expansion.
Something on my listing is wrong. How do I fix it?
Email us from a domain or account associated with the business, note what’s wrong (hours, services, phone, closure), and we’ll verify and correct it — usually within a few days.
Will you sell featured placement later?
Possibly — but never mixed into rankings. If featured slots ever exist, they’ll be visually separate, clearly labeled, and the methodology page will document exactly how they work.
